RSV.

Kitana tested positive for RSV this morning when I took her in. She also has an ear infection and was running a fever all night. She could hardly breathe and was so uncomfortable cause of the fever. We didn't get much sleep last night at all, so its nap time for us girls!

Sad is an understatement.

I've been eating terrible, not working out, and really not in the mood for anything lately. I've just been so sad lately.

My baby cousin Jordan, (who I babysit) hadn't been himself. He had gotten a really bad cough, not breathing well and was super tired and clingy. I knew something wasn't right.

The first thing diagnosed was RSV, then he went back the next day and after doing an x-ray, they found pneumonia in both lungs. And he was super dehydrated and was running a fever of 103+, so they decided he  would stay the night at Good Shepard hooked up on IV fluids...until he took a turn for the worst. That same night he was life flighted to OHSU (Dorenbecher Children's Hospital) because the amount of oxygen that they were giving him here wasn't enough for his poor little body.

He's been there for a few days now and not much progress has been made. He's still sedated..pretty much in a coma, hooked up on breathing tubes and feeding tubes, and has a pic line running through his arm.

All of this saddens me so much! I can't imagine in my worst nightmares how it'd feel to sit and watch my poor child lay there helpless. :(

***Kitana is also getting sick. :( fever the last two days, not wanting to eat, and getting a nasty cough. Please pray for these two babies, especially Jordan to get through this! I can't wait to see that cheeky smile I love so much and for my little princess to be back to the little diva girl that she is.

Baby, where did you go?

This was like 6 months ago! So so so crazy. I don't even remember her being that chubby. She was so chubby, so cute and so little compared to now.

Gender Reveal Party.

Saturday, I got the chance to attend and be a part of a "gender reveal party." (It's a party telling everyone what they are having, boy or girl.) It was so much fun! They had it at this really cute little wine place in Richland, called Casa Vino?? Or something like that? As we got there we voted on what we thought the baby was. I voted girl! I just had a feeling I guess? And after we awaited a balloon release, my vote was correct! <3 She's having a girl!!!!! I am beyond excited for her to become a new mom and get to experience all that being a mom has to offer; the late night feedings, the poopy diapers, the crying...the moment you see your child and really know what love is, the feeling you get when they smile at you, and everything else having a child can give you. I know she is going to be a great mom!!!! And that baby is going to be spoiled rotton :) and probably be the best dressed kid I know! Once again I am soooo excited for her and this awesome experience that she gets to go through! Yay for more babies!

This week's update...

19 miles and no weight loss or gain.
Ate terrible so it was expected... Next week gonna hit it even harder and back to healthy eating.

This is her "cheese" face. She even says it while I'm taking the picture. So flippin cute! :) Haha She's pretty adorable if your ask me!

PS my daughter isn't that bad, not nearly as bad as the last post made her seem, but sometimes just sometimes, she gets a little crazy. :)

Lately...

Kitana has been throwing her tantrums again and boy oh boy is she getting good.  This little girl knows how to yell. She then acts if she's going to hit you if you say "no" or "stop it." I'm not sure why she's acting out lately? Maybe its just a part of growing up?..well whatever it is she better stop it real fast cause its getting old. And...that's not the worst of it. She is being a mean girl. (especially to Jordan.) One minute she is loving on him and the next she drops one of her toys on his head, she raises her hand to hit him and if he's leaning on something she pulls it out from underneath him. Honestly, I think she's learning it from Romeo. He's a super mean/aggressive big boy who is SOOOOO rough. He pushes her down, pretty much tackles her, and hits people...so after my evaluation, she learned it from him and now does it to Jordan. Guess I'll just keep on with our talks about it being wrong and continue spanking her hand and see if all this gets any better.

Funny story.

The other day at Wal-Mart, Kitana, Ashley and I were doing some shopping and happened to pass the Valentine's Day section. Ash and I were talking about something and Kitana was being a good girl minding her own business in the shopping cart. As soon as Kitana sees all the stuffed animals and what not she was interested...then, the huge teddy bears were in a bin at the end and she about lost it. She kept saying,"Theodore." Over and over. Haha! Funny little girl thought those giant teddy bears were "Theodore" (her teddy from home." Ash and I couldn't stop laughing! Silly little nugget.

Laughs at her farts. Haha its so gross and super funny at the same time. :)
She gets even more excited when they are super loud. My baby is pretty funny if you ask me. :)

Down 5 more pounds this week! 8 total in 2 weeks! Small goals small goals small goals! Woop Woop!

Uhh... What the heck! Haha I could have sworn we had unlimited, guess not. I called my dad and told him and he was confused too. After figuring out the numbers, I guess dad and mom combined don't even use 1 gig, Brandon uses a little over 1, and I use about 5! Haha I about died laughing when my dad told me this. How does this even happen?

Well..I'm a genius (not really) and figured out that I can stop my apps when they aren't being used, therefore, saving me lots of data. Meh, I hope so anyways, cause dad said I'll have to pay all the added fees and this broke lady has enough money problems as is. Ha

Some progress is better than none.

I'm trying to stay positive about eating right and working out and not seeing the results I want... I know it takes time but I'm very impatient with these things. I only lost 3 lbs. my first week and I weigh in again tomorrow.

This week's food intake hasn't been the greatest but it hasn't been terrible either. And, I've increased my miles already for the entire week and added in legs and abs! BOOM!

Today I'm going to do a double workout to try and get my booty in shape! I'm not giving up this time! Won't do it-NOPE! :)

My daughter is crazy big.

My goodness. Remember how my little baby is not a little baby anymore. All of this growing up stuff is so crazy. I mean she was independent before, but now she is really her own little self.

Feeds herself.
Talk SOOOOO much.
Point/identify body parts.
Eat anything she wants.
Is a dancing queen.
Runs.
Plays.
Tries to put her own diaper on.
Tries to climb in/out of the tub.
Talks of the phone.
Plays with all the big kids.
Fakes her cry. (hilarious)
Listens. (most of the time)
Sings.
Laughs at herself.
